When did you first encounter the RMI (approximate month and year)?

I found RMI in September 2016.

Jewel, how did your Restoration Journey begin? What brought you to RMIEW?

My journey began before my EH left our house, but it wasn't until he left that I realized everything I had caused and needed help for myself and my marriage. When EH (earthly husband) left to go to the capital he was going to look for work, I offered to go but he told me that once he found a job and settled in. He already felt hatred for me, and I could see it, but I didn't understand it until now. He went with a tourist student and from then on, the tests became stronger and stronger. About 3 months later my eh left and told me, "Keep going, as I won't be coming back". I begged him to come home and stay, and he just blocked me from every contact I had with him. I was looking for some kind of help to confirm to myself that I wasn't wrong or that I wasn't the only one who thought the restoration of my marriage was right. Even before he told me he was done, deep down I felt like it was goodbye. That pain in my heart and stomach for days thinking about how to explain to my 2-year-old son when his dad came back was killing me. I immediately lost weight. While I was at the house of a friend who knew everything that was going on (a friend of the two), I started searching the web from a video that took me to Facebook and, on that page, I found the book "How God Can and Will Restore Your Marriage", I downloaded it and read it at every possible moment.

What has RMI and/or EncouragingWomen done and what has it meant to you?

RMI led me to the one I know today as my Heavenly Husband, the one who has mended my broken heart. This meant a lot to me because knowing it was and is the best medicine and treatment for any disease. When I found RMI I was about to give up, although I never agreed to the divorce, it did cross my mind. After reading and watching the encouraging videos, I slowly began to gain strength in Him, I thank RMI for being a attractive bride to Him.

Jewel, how has your life changed and how has it changed since you learned about RMI's promises and applied the principles?

Both me and my life has changed a lot, from my personal relationships to my work and even my appearance. People tell me that I am different. Once I started reading and putting into practice what I was and am learning, my whole life began to change. I began to feed on His word and learn them in my heart and claim them in different situations and even share them with others, I began to minister. I started to look radiant. I understood that this is a journey of changes, to fall in love with HIM.

Why are you interested in becoming a minister?

I became interested in being a minister because I wanted to share with other women what I learned, in what I considered the worst part of my life, which actually turned out to be the beginning of the best part. I want to share His love, ministering His word so that others too can fall in love with Him and seek Him. How someone helped me find Him, I want to help others come to Him.

Jewel, what have you gained, learned, or experienced from being a minister?

I've learned that sharing His word is not preaching, but learning the word and sharing it just when the time is right, His time. I have lived situations where my testimonies are responses to others, I also cried and laughed with other brides and learned from their testimonies.

Who is FIRST in your life? How did it come to this?

My Heavenly Husband is the first. This happened once I started reading about my first love and started looking for it more and more: morning and night. When I couldn't sleep, I repeated His words in my mind. I wrote them down and talked to Him anywhere and at any time.

Are you currently "seeking" the restoration of your own marriage? Why or why not?

No, I am no longer seeking the restoration of my marriage, I decided to let it go and so I did. I have reached a point where I am comfortable with only my Heavenly Husband, my son, and myself. I live on a constant honeymoon. I don't feel the affection I felt or the desire to have EH back. I believe that the Love I have for my HH and that He has for me is enough. I know that the Lord blesses marriage, but I also know that whatever His will is He will make it happen.

Jewel, what resources helped you the most? Which are your favorites?

The resources that helped me the most were "How God Can and Will Restore Your Marriage" and the book "A Wise Woman" as well as "Finding Abundant Life" and "Living Abundant Life". But all the other resources offered by RMI (The Encourager, devotionals, and especially the testimonies and videos of encouragement) were very helpful to me. My favorite was the RYM book and the encouraging videos, they were very helpful to me.

What was the reason you first became interested in applying for a minister and joining the "A Church Without Walls" Restoration Fellowship becoming HIS bride and HIS church?

My main reason for applying to minister and joining the "Restoration Fellowship" was to be able to share with other women all that I had learned and to help them find their heavenly husband, as I did. In this way, HE would become all that they want, need, and live.

When did you come to know the Lord personally? Can you briefly share your experience of salvation?

I grew up in a Christian Baptist Church where we have Sunday school and later in the day another service primarily for adults, every Sunday. Since I was a child I was taught that Jesus is our savior, that He gave His life for us. I was always moved by Christian gospel music, so much so that I cried with the words. I joined (baptized) our church membership when I was 16 years old. Soon after, the enemy began to stalk me more often. Sometimes I fell, several times, but I always get up and come back. In 2016, when I joined RMI and began to seek God, that's when I really felt like I got salvation. I learned to ask Him and others for forgiveness, and there is additional peace I feel in Him after having been intimate with Him for so many days, wanting to live for Him and in Him. And I've never felt that before.

Jewel, what would you like to say to the women who are reading your BIO, helping them cheer it up?

Dear brides, I know that this journey is not easy, and when we are starting out we are like a child who is just learning to crawl. We have to move slowly and spend a lot of time on our knees, praying; As long as we are down there, we will gain more strength, enough to stand and walk, to hold on and move forward, to go from all the pain and tears, to happiness, peace and maybe more tears, but of joy. Our Heavenly Husband is the one who gives us all that, once we fall in love with Him, and believe me, it's the sweetest feeling. I encourage you to seek Him with EVERYTHING you have, without fear but with LOVE and see Him work wonders in your life, and above all enjoy the journey, each trial makes you stronger.
